Define two grids at the same vertical angle and same horizontal angle.

How to recognize the direction of wind
How to recognize the direction of wind?
I have a simple wind meter, so for every 15 minutes it gives me the wind speed and direction. I used to take the average of 3 wind measurements and then draw a chart that shows the wind direction and speed per 15 min intervals.
But that doesn’t seem to be the most efficient method. The conditions in which I take the measurement are not optimal.
A few times I heard that there are sophisticated methods for doing that. If you have such methods do you mind sharing it?
